Corporate Director of Safety
Robert Martinez is the Safety Risk Director for AMPAM, where he leads enterprise-wide safety, risk management, and workers’ compensation operations across large-scale construction projects throughout California. With more than 25 years of experience in workers’ compensation and over 10 years in construction safety leadership, he oversees 80+ active projects, directing a multidisciplinary safety team in alignment with Cal/OSHA standards. Since joining AMPAM in 2015, Robert has been instrumental in advancing the company’s safety culture, managing complex claims in partnership with executive leadership, insurance carriers, and legal counsel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support both operational excellence and employee well-being.
